From there, Yuzu Sushi was born.

Reno, NV, the “Biggest Little City in the World” is known for a number of things (depending on who you ask around here), but having access to all the sushi you can fit inside your body is definitely not typically on the bingo card for a city that sits in the middle of a desert, surrounded by mountains on all sides.

We wanted to try something a little different. We decided to slow things down a little and focus on what makes food and drinks so good: The ingredients. The time. The dedication. Our mission was simple – to be the best we can with what we have and what we can get our hands on. No rigid ceremony and no need to wait for a special occasion–just exceptional food, drinks, and an atmosphere that invites you to settle in.

We offer a range of traditional sushi for those who enjoy the delicate flavors of each ingredient –sashimi, nigiri, and hosomaki. Here the details matter: the cut, the texture, and the balance. We also like to have a little fun with it and break some traditions with some of our own twists. From our Izakaya plates to our unique Uramaki rolls, here our creativity shines: combinations of textures and flavors, in-house sauces and Japanese spices create an entirely new sushi experience.
